Top 5 Fake Engagement Rings on Amazon for Traveling

I can't really believe the first time I'm writing about my engagement on here is to share with you the best fake engagement rings, rather than doing a romantic tell-all or sharing the beautiful pictures of THE actual ring ... but life has this tendency to happen and when on top of that there's a wedding to plan, well it gets hard. Finding those small moments to just write and share has been a difficult task recently, but today, while gladly resting on the beach after a short day of home office (thank God!) and a couple of compliments on my ring -- which is an almost perfect knock-off I found on Amazon after a long and deep search trying to find the closest match -- I stumbled upon the idea of sharing with you the best and prettiest rings I discovered, which are perfect for a summer vacation at the beach, a hiking date, or a tipsy night out ... all without the stress and panic that having an actual diamond on your hand can bring in this very distracting situations, without having to go bare handed.

My personal recommendation for finding the ring, when looking in Amazon do not include the word "fake" because a lot of party props show up rather than good rings. Also, I wouldn't buy anything above USD $30 or so ... after all the point of this ring is that if you lose it you could replace it without having a hard time.

#5 ROSE GOLD ROUND CUT This one is for those with a true romantic archetype. I used to think I wanted a round cut for myself but now that I've fallen deeply in love with mine (a classic princess cut) I can't seem to know why I thought a round cut would favor my slightly chubby hands. But hey, it's a beautiful option. I love how subtle the inclusion of romantic femininity is with the rose gold band, still it's important to think about how that could match with your wedding band and most importantly ... your husband's. I love how matching bands look and having a rose gold band could really mess this up, since not everyone wants to have everything made out of that material. And sometimes stacking up rings in different colors can look a little weird, so keep this in mind for the real thing. However, since this is a fake engagement ring posts, you could definitely get yours in rose gold and have a little fun when wearing it to your bachelorette getaways!

#4 TIMELESS GOLD OVAL CUT This one is a little bit pricier but for those girlies with the oval gold ring, it's worth it I believe. The reviews on the material are very good ones, and it has the added value of the bejeweled crown at the base, which adds an elegant touch covering the stone's supporting band. This, paired with the princess cut, are in my opinion the most classic, timeless and elegant rings, which pair perfectly with the up and coming old money trend.

Emerald and Sapphire rings fascinate me. There is something completely regal about them that makes them feel like they've just come out of a fairy tale, and the best part in my opinion, is that they are just perfect for everyone, wether it's an engagement ring or just a beautiful piece for an elegant night out. I guess that just adds a mysterious haze to them, which will have everyone sneaking a quick look. One of my best friends is one of those girls who will someday rock her emerald engagement ring as an extension of her personality more than an accessory, and I can see her picking this exact one as a gorgeous dupe.

#2 SILVER ROUND CUT I'll give this ring the second position, not because I like it, but because I feel it's the most common out there and many people will benefit from this great dupe! I personally would rather have a colored diamond or gemstone rather than a silver round cut, it's just a little too basic to me. I deeply believe that my skin tone is everything but made for silver, I feel it washes me down ... don't get me wrong, I love adding a pop of silver every now and then, mainly when it comes to necklaces or mixed metals, like my Kate Spade Apple Watch band (which is just perfect for the everyday and you can find here) but when it comes to the really good jewelry, I just feel like for me, nothing can beat the beauty of gold.

Obviously I was gonna leave the best for last ... and obviously the best for me is ... well, mine.

The princess cut is a timeless design and considered by many the most romantic cut of them all. In my opinion, its sharp edges and square shape help elongate and stylize the hands a lot, giving a full on elegant look. In my opinion, this cut and a gold ring are a match made in heaven, when paired with silver it doesn't look quite as elegant. I used to believe I wanted a round diamond and I am so glad by fiancee knew better. I just can't picture loving any other ring as much as I love mine.

Finding a dupe that matches mine as much as this one does was a hard task, and full day immersed in reading reviews and finding users opinions and pictures. I finally found this one and decided to order it right away. The price is really perfect for what it's meant to do, replace the original one for those days when you could lose it or harm it, but still want to wear it. Perfect for bachelorettes, hikes, or simply having peace of mind when driving in a not-very-safe city. The quality of the material is better than I imagined it, I really do believe this will last for a good while before turning rusty ... my only recommendation with this brand would be to size down at least half your number, since it ran a little big. And talking about rings running big, keep reading for the best tip on how to temporarily fix them ;)

TIP: This plastic adjusters from Amazon are great for adding support to your slightly loose rings, and perfect for keeping around when a friend is getting engaged, and the size might not be perfect. The pack includes wires and snuggies, perfect for different occasions and support. My engagement ring fit a little big on my finger and I haven't wanted to fix it yet since I want to keep losing a little bit of weight and tracking how much my hand swells by the end of the day, so I've been using this little wires for about 6 months now and they are super comfortable, come in a great variety of formats and sizes and include a lot of product so you can change them up after a while and share around with your friends.

What about you? Share your dream engagement ring on the comments and let me find your perfect dupe :)
