Penpal x You Name It

Last year I did my first collab with a great local phone cases brand, You Name It. It's ran by two crafty girls that personalize cases with vinyl adding your name, monogram or anything you'd like to write on them. And well, now you can also add my stickers!

I came up with four different collections of about 12 designs each, inspired by both, trends and the things I love the most. ¿Wanna learn more about each and most importantly, take a look?

COLORADO HIKES

This collection is inspired on my trip to Vail. I had never been there and I fell deeply in love with it. Since it was during the summer, every activity was very sporty and adventurous, every day involved hiking, riding a bike, paddle-boarding eating an ice cream and falling into a very cold lost lake in the middle of the mountain, more than once. ¿Who knew I'm more of a mountain girl than a beach one?

The color palette was created around this picture I took and sketched at Ford Park on the river side. It was a great day, at a great place, with extraordinary great people. Now you've made me miss it madly.

STAY AT HOME

Do I need tell you what inspired this collection? I mean, I know it's no two-part grammy level album as Taylor's, but this quarantine definitely has inspired me in some ways. Being at home, surrounded by my things all day, it's really been a pink and pastel situation. So this collection is really based off my own things. I just sat at my room, looked around, and started sketching one after the next.

Well, I must admit the bunny loafers are not mine really, but with the cold hitting CDMX this days,I really wish they were, do you know where could I get a fluffy pair? Please let me know!

GROOVY THROWBACK

Take your old lava lamp and make it groovy-er. This collection was created with an actual colorful lava explosion in mind. I tried to bring together the amazing magic of the 60's and 70's into a group of stickers that make the Beatles, the hippies, the discos, and all of the odd things happening back then really come together, right now...

My absolutely favorite sticker for some odd reason, is the little mushroom, she's one sassy cool easy going friend that ended up being called Olga the Fun Gee, el honguito buena onda.

COSMIC MAGIC

I'm not anymore that much of a magical mystical vibes kind of girl. And definitely not a fan of purple, seriously, as someone who collects sweaters of every color like a crazy women, I must confess I only have one single purple one, it's an odd fact to know and a story for another day, but really, not my thing. Yet, my sister is the purpliest girl ever, and color wise this collection is completely inspired by her. Design wise, well it's inspired by the alluring universe and some incredibly inspiring women I know who are really good around energies, gems, stones, tarot cards, stars and magic. If that's your kind of style, shoot me a DM and I'll share with you their instagram handles for you to follow along!

The stickers are sold at younameit.com.mx and come either in a sheet with a case, or by themselves, on a bigger size that's great for a computer, a Yeti, or even your car.

I know I'm late to the stickermania party since the collaboration launched last year, but it's still up and running and I really felt like talking about it here, explaining a little more about each collection, and giving this stickers the place they deserved on my little corner of the internet, since they are close to me in a little corner in my heart.
