On My Radar - The June Issue

Updated: Jul 6, 2022

I have had the site dormant, to say the least, during this pandemic times that came with a side of creative and writers block and a heavy seasoning of tons of homework... but as I re-launch this capsule after more than just a couple of months, I also make a promise to keep the content up and coming, now more than ever before. So, with nothing much more to add, here's the 6 main things that have been on my radar recently...

I was never ever before interested in a smart watch, until I came across with the Kate Spade Scallop, it has the greatest feature I could dream of, a color changing face that matches your outfit... Talk abut extra. Yet, and sadly, after many many hours of research I found out that the watch, specially having an iPhone, simply wasn't worth it and I was in for a lot of trouble, so I let it slip my mind ... until the quarantine fitness wave hit me and luckily decided to get the Apple Watch Series 5 as a birthday present from my parents, obviously in pink, and I'm loving it! I'll definitely write a post specially about it anytime soon!

Okay this sleeves are to die for, they look so nice and chic, the colors are so versatile and pretty and the leather looks so freshly cut you can almost smell it. I actually found this bags as a sponsored story ad on Instagram and I am really considering getting one in blush pink for my iPad, once the outside world becomes a thing again.

The Politician's season one won me over the first 5 minutes by it's satisfying opening titles, color correction and aesthetics alone ... and the series turned out to be really fun and engaging, with a great sense of fashion, really the outfits are #GOALS. This second season really lived up to the first, and it's primarily set in NYC which makes it a basic check for me, I finished it in just two days and if you haven't seen it yet, please please do.

I am a heels over flats girl all the way. And not really in with this tennis shoes with all trend, believe I own some, I am not that weird, but my snake skin cut superstars are not as white as they used to be and having a nice trip to look forward to this summer I decided to hop on the train and get some Nike AF1 Sage Low, and I am in love! This tennis have a nice athleisure look and can be worn up or down; the subtle platform makes your legs look great and they are comfortable, a tip I found and am glad I followed .. size half a number up!

While shopping a nice sale deal I also got myself a pair of running shoes! I had never before splurged on ones because this whole running thing is super recent, and the Pegasus 37 are not only gorgeous, but also they feel like running on spongey clouds, this whole zoom thing that Nike has going on is the real deal.

Lauren Graham since Gilmore Girls and then Parenthood has been one of my favorite actresses, and I've been meaning to read this book for a while now, yet somehow I never do it. I promise this month I'll get to it and I hope it's as good as I picture it being. Have you read it? What do you think? I am considering trying out audible and listening since hearing her voice might make it better, I've just never tried audio books so I'll tell you how that goes.

Finally, this pale pink flower case is so me, that I feel like I will end up giving in and buying it even though I don't really need it. I love Rifle Paper Co. and it's happy busy designs, and this case seems to be soft and matte and perfect for carrying your AirPods safely, yet I would really like it to match with an iPhone case and they no longer sell the matching one for my not-so-old-but-not-so-new iPhone 8+ ... still it's already in my Amazon shopping cart and eventually I know I'll end up buying it ...
