On My Radar - The July Issue

I'm back with my top six favorite things from the last month ...

Known by many as the Ferrari of hair appliances, the Dyson Airwrap team just launched its second version of the very loved and acclaimed machine. Now with longer barrels, new technology and re-adjustments this version does everything the first one did, only better. I only tried the Dyson once before knowing that it would be an amazing solution to the constant heat damage my hair underwent everyday I decided to style it in any curly way. And after some saving and constant tutorial and review bingeing, finally replaced my go-to tool and upgraded from a straightener into The Dyson Airwrap Complete Long. The easy, fast and harmless way in which it styles hair is amazing and the different attachments make the purchase completely worth it, it's a 4-in-one deal that delivers and cares for your hair, a long time investment if you may.

TWO // CHESAPEAKE SHORES S6 - Netflix The sixth season of my favorite easy watching series on Netflix aired and I'm just so happy they kept on going this far, although I can tell the end is near. This Hallmark series is everything a good Christmas movie should be, except all year round and longer (so better? maybe.) It follows the life of Abby and her family, who live in a picturesque town in Maryland (it's actually recorded in Vancouver Island - added to the bucket list). It makes the perfect companion for easy dinners and slow days, if you haven't checked it out and love Hallmark cheesy movies, I just don't know what you're waiting for.

This very millennial card game is a mix between the classic "UNO" and ... well, I'm not sure what else. It's fun, quick, and very easy to learn. This game, which still remains the most backed Kickstarter project ever, has different expansion boxes and versions filled with pure internet randomness and kitten meme weirdness. It's something I would've never ever bought but once I played it I just really got the hype. The best part? For me it's the Party Pack, it has a nice festive piñata sound every time you open it.

I know I'm super duper late to the bucket hat trend, but it's just that they remind me so much of when I was a little girl and my mom made me wear them all the time at the beach and felt more like an extension of sunblock rather than a fashion accessory. That all said before I tried on a bucket hat and discovered that surprisingly, they really look good on me, not childish at all. So I guess I'll go with this classic take on the trend that matches my aesthetic, in French Terry, perfect for the beach and the summer.

FIVE // ST. GERMAIN SPRITZ

This twist on the classical Aperol Spritz is less bitter and incredibly delicious. Made from french spring elderflowers once a year, this liqueur is the perfect summer into fall transition drink. The flavor is light, sweetly floral, and fragrant, with notes of citrus, pear and passionfruit. It's got a rising popularity so you'll find it almost everywhere, but in case you're feeling crafty and like hosting, here's the recipe from Bon Appetit.

Chilaquiles, are in fact, the cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast. Not hamburgers as some might be led to believe by a certain movie. And more so when the breakfast in question is a hangover one. Being Mexican, chilaquiles are part of the everyday food and you can find pretty good ones almost anywhere, but never ever had I tried ones as good and as gourmet oriented as the ones we ordered at one of San Miguel de Allende's most beautiful terraces, Trazo 1810. Served in morita chili sauce, with roasted marrow and smoked pancetta and a side of avocado, this are a MUST for when you visit this magical town (perfect for two, or one very very hungry human)

This gave me the idea for a new foodie guide edit section, would you be interested?
