February was for me way harder than January, literally it was the Tuesday of the year; I know it was because of the new calendar my university has and how now we begin the semesters in February instead of January, so I started the year out great only working half-time and having one class a week (Winter Special Term! the only perk of this new calendar implementation) and now I've had a harder time getting used to seven courses, a half-time job, the pre-game for the website, excercise and keeping up with life! But I believe now I've got it all under control (a little late I know).
But even though this was a very weird up-and-downy kind of month, I had some great finds and overall, a great time, it's always important to be grateful and I keep reminding that to myself every time I start complaining about something.
So back to the purpose of this post, I'll save this space once or maybe twice a month to talk to you about my top finds in the hopes they'll be of use for you!
ONE // MONTHLY DESKTOP CALENDAR - at-a-glance x Emily Ley
This calendar is a planner's life saver literally! I bought it off amazon and loved every single detail it has; the space is perfect for what I intended it to be, a social media & blog planner for Penpal.
I keep it in my desk and use color coding techniques to literally have everything "at-a-glance", PLUS since I bought it the first week of February it already had some major discount on amazon, if you don't care about losing the first two months, you should definitely get it!

TWO // GRAY LOUNGE SET - ZARA
I usually don't have tons of lounge wear and when at Zara, would normally buy a couple of nice jeans or blouses rather that sweats, but this set was to die for!
It's so comfortable, and it can either be dressed up just like I did a couple of weeks ago, or dressed down and be perfect for a school or errands day; plus on wintery times, wearing a skin tight long sleeved tee below makes them cute and warm. It comes in four colors, black, beige, tan and grey. Unfortunately they're no longer on stock online, but this are a dressier similar version and I also found this pretty Massimo Dutti similar ones that have a hooded top.
THREE // LUNCH BOWLS
So, you've heard about my seven classes and a job right? If you've seen my schedule on the Color Coding post, there's no free time for eating, and that's exactly why I've become a huge fan of bowls for lunch, and there are TONS of great recipes on the internet, you can Pinterest a hundred but the ones I've been trying and are really good are this ones. Got any go-to bowl recipes? Drop them on the comments!
FOUR // PERFECT GRIP PENS - MINISO
If you're picky as me with handwriting, finding good pens is often a problem, and here in Mexico they sometimes are not always stocked, but I finally found my go-to pen, a $14.00 MXN pretty pen that comes in different visual versions and writes beautifully, it also lasts a lot! I bought one about five months ago and re-purchased a few this month. Is there anything Miniso does not have?
FIVE // ALEXA ECHO DOT - Amazon
Call me old styled, but I need an alarm clock for waking up, trusting my iPhone will do the job is super risky, I can either run out of battery at night or simply snooze it unconsciously, so when my super old alarm clock which I had for about fifteen years died completely (it was so old it only had a CD player no USB cord or AUX) I set my mind to find the perfect replacement, and the Alexa Echo Dot that has an integrated clock was just it!
Alexa comes in super handy for a lot of things, even if you don't have a smart house or room, and the system pairs perfectly with Apple Music and Spotify and can switch through them swiftly; but my absolute favorite thin about her is how the light on the clock adjusts accordingly to the amount of light in the room, and dims just right for me to sleep without any troubles.
SIX // AVOCADO PIZZA - Farina
Last but not least, the best pizza I've ever had in my life, seriously so good I had it twice in a week when I first found it! The Avocado Pizza from Farina is just perfect, it has the best balance between greens, dough and my favorite, avocado.
They have about six restaurants open in Mexico City, the ambiance is good, the menu has many Italian - Mexican dishes that are yummy and perfect size for sharing a couple of entrées and still having room for a main dish.
TIP: If you're into beer, try the Tempus ALT Clásica they offer, my boyfriend swears it's his new favorite!
